New Court Policies and Procedures for Judicial Matters due to COVID-19

Vicinage XV, covering courts in Gloucester, Salem, and Cumberland County is implementing new policies and procedures to accommodate judicial matters, in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

The new procedures will use virtual platforms as much as possible.  While new trials will not begin for the time being, the court will continue to hear Juvenile matters, Domestic Violence and Contempt of Final Restraining Orders in a timely manner.

Policies and procedures are evolving and may be expanded upon as the judiciary comes to grips with the best and safest manner to provide continuous access to the courts.

We are including a notice to the courts from the Gloucester County Bar Association from March 19, 2020 discussing the ever-changing procedures the courts are implementing.  Click HERE to read this notice.
