Christopher L. Baxter, Esquire Joins Rosenberg Perry & Associates

The criminal and DWI/DUI defense law firm of Rosenberg Perry & Associates is pleased to announce that on January 1, 2025, DWI/DUI and criminal defense trial attorney Christopher L. Baxter joined the firm!

Mr. Baxter has over 35 years of trial and litigation experience in DWI/DUI courtrooms and more than 11 years of experience as a municipal prosecutor, Christopher Baxter brings a unique advantage to the DUI/DWI defense cases of his clients. He has handled over 4,000 DWI cases and has extensive knowledge of how both the defense and the prosecution work in DWI matters.

In addition to his litigation and trial experience, Mr. Baxter has extensive technical training similar to that of police and medical experts in the DUI/DWI field. This includes training in forensic Gas Chromatography Analysis of Blood Evidence, in GC/Mass Spectrometry analysis of solid drug samples, and in GC/Mass Spectrometry analysis of biological fluids for the presence of drugs.  He has also completed the Draeger Alcotest 7110 and 9510 (NJ breath machine) operator training courses.

Mr. Baxter is a past Trustee of the Burlington County Bar Association and has chaired its Municipal Court Section for over 20 years. He has been named a Fellow by the Board of Governors of the American Institute of Chemists. Since 2014, he has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Widener University Law School teaching DWI Legal Theory and Practice. He regularly lectures statewide to his peers on forensic toxicology.

Mr. Baxter will be working with Nathan Mammarella, the firm’s Head of DUI/DWI and Municipal Court Litigation, John Sitzler and Brandon Sweeney in the Firm’s DWI/DUI and Municipal Court litigation department. In addition to DWI/DUI matters, Mr. Baxter will continue handling felony matters in Superior Court.
